The table is 2.74 m by 1.52 m, with the upper surface at a height of 76 cm of soil. The table is divided into two tracks separated by a network of 15.24 cm in height and a white stripe that goes through the center of the table from one extreme to another and used in doubles matches. The standard table top is made of five layers of wood, so that the elasticity of the same let a ball when dropped from a height of 30.5 cm, its rebound a depth between 22.2 cm and 24,8 cm. The white ball is hollow celluloid, has a diameter of about 3.81 cm and weighing approximately 2.5 g. Snowshoes can be any shape but are usually oval, are made of wood and surfaces of the faces are made of rubber or sponge smooth or rough.
Like in tennis, this is about to hit the ball from one field to another on the network until one player misses the ball or hits the net or off the table in each of these cases, the opponent scores a point. For good service, a player holding the ball in the palm of his hand, driving up into the air and hits the lower and must bounce the ball first in the area of the serving table, then the game continues as in tennis except that the ball must bounce on the table before being returned by a player. When a service hits the net but lands in the opponent is called a let and not worth the play. One player serves until they have scored five points, after which the contrary served during the following five points. A game is won by the first player to get 21 points. If the game is tied at 20 points, the service changes each point until one player gets a lead of two points, thus winning the game. Players change sides after each game (and also when a player reaches 10 points in the deciding game of the match). Balls that touch the net or the edges of the table are valid. Where in the opinion of the referee a ball touches one side but not an edge of the table the player taking the shot misses the point.
The game differs from individual partners in the following points: the service must be performed from the right side that gets to the right side of the opponents, each player must return the ball hit or alternatively with your partner, each player receives five services and, when opponents change their positions, served for five points. The return that a player performs on the stroke of a certain opponent must be changed after every game or after a couples reach 10 points in the deciding game of the match.
